Wicked Star Lindsay Mendez on Worshipping Joni Mitchell, Blackmailing Friends and Her Show at 54 Below

Wicked headliner Lindsay Mendez is bringing her golden voice to 54 Below on September 9 for a one-night-only concert event. Joined by pianist Marco Paguia, Mendez will perform songs from their jazz album This Time, as well as debut some brand new tracks. Truthfully? "Some Kinda Time" from Dogfight. I miss hearing it every night, so I play it a lot.

Joni Mitchell, though I'd probably just sit there with my mouth hanging open.

Liza Minnelli, please.
